Category A: Inspectorate Cadre

2. Assistant Inspector of Fire (AIF): To be eligible for this role, you must have an NCE or National Diploma (ND) in any related field from a recognized institution.

Category B: Assistant Cadre

3. Fire Assistant II (FA II): To apply for this position, you should have a GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, or equivalent certificate with a maximum of five (5) credits in two sittings, including English and Mathematics.
4. Fire Assistant III (FA III) & Appliance Driver (Specialist): To qualify for these roles, you need a GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, or equivalent certificate with at least five (5) credits in two sittings, including English and Mathematics. Having a Class E Driver’s License is an advantage for the Appliance Driver position.
